Al Salam Bank : “Danat Al Salam” First Grand Draw Winner of US$100,000

Al Salam Bank-Bahrain, one of the pioneering Shari'a-compliant banks in the Kingdom, announced the first Grand prize 'Al Badla' worth US$ 100,000 as part of this year's 'Danat' Saving Scheme to Mr. Abdulmenem Yahya Abualsel. The prize was awarded by Mr. Abdulkarim Turki - Group Head of Retail Banking at the Bank's headquarter in the Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC).

Mr. Turki expressed on behalf of the Bank congratulations to 'our grand winner of 'Al Badla prize' and all Danat winners during this year's scheme. This is the first Danat Grand Prize to be given out since the launch of our new investment savings scheme offering valuable cash prize structure this year, and it gives us great satisfaction to see that 'Danat' savings scheme has positively impact the lives of our customers by making their dreams come true.'

He further added 'with our first grand prize of 2016 concluded, we encourage all our customers to build their investments by 2nd of May for a chance to win our special 'Sujni' prizes which will be given away in July.'

To be eligible for the prize draw, customers can open Danat savings account at any Al Salam Bank-Bahrain or BMI Bank branches with a minimum deposit of BD50. The Danat savings scheme draws will be supervised by a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tourism along with the internal and external auditors and in accordance with Bahrain Central Bank and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Laws.
