Dabney has been a Vice President of Alcoa since 2008 and has served as Corporate Secretary for 12 years. She has extensive experience in corporate securities and executive compensation matters, having practiced in these areas since 1980. Dabney has a key role in the handling of critical corporate matters, particularly those involving corporate governance and executive compensation. She has served as the focal point for communications with Alcoa's Board of Directors, shareholders and senior management. "You have been widely recognized for your business leadership and legal and securities expertise throughout your enduring career," said Sonia Ossorio, Executive Director National Organization for Women-NY. "Your notable influence in your industry makes you an outstanding role model for women and an inspiration to many women."

Dabney was honored along with five other distinguished women: Leslie Abi-Karam, EVP & President, Communications Solutions, Pitney Bowes; Julie Macklowe, founder and CEO of vbeauté, the luxury cosmetics and skin care company; Kelly M. Williams, Managing Director and Group Head of the Customized Fund Investment Group at Credit Suisse; Melinda M. White, EVP, Revenue Development at Frontier Communications Corporation; and Paula H. Anderson, a partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP.
