"UPDATE: Alcoa 'Comfortable' That Brazil Will Soon Cut Energy Costs," published at 6:52 p.m. EDT Wednesday, incorrectly said Alcoa had shut aluminum production lines in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro and Bahia states, in the seventh paragraph. Other companies in those states have shut down aluminum-production lines, but Alcoa isn't planning any closures. This error also appeared in an earlier version of the story published at 3:14 p.m
