WALTHAM, Mass., Feb. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Alere Inc. (NYSE: ALR), a global leader in enabling individuals to take charge of their health at home through the merger of rapid diagnostics and health management, today announced that it will release its fourth quarter 2011 earnings on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The Company will also host a conference call beginning at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern Time) on that date to discuss these results and other corporate matters. During the conference call, the Company will discuss and answer questions concerning business and financial developments and trends. The Company's responses to questions, as well as other matters discussed during the conference call, may contain or constitute information that has not been disclosed previously.
