Alkomet Shumen : Alcomet enhances fabrication capabilities with a new CNC centre

Alcomet's policy has always been dedicated to improving quality and efficiency of metal processing. An expression of this policy is keeping the production equipment in line with the latest technological standards and market requirements.

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide better service to our customers, we continue to enhance our fabrication capabilities for extrusions by adding new lines to our portfolio. Our newest acquisition is a state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machining centre, supplied by leading German manufacturer Elumatec. The SB151 FLEXIUM is capable of performing even the most complex drilling, tapping, thread milling, routing, sawing and notching operations. Designed for economical and efficient machining of aluminium profiles, with maximum machining length up to 7300 mm, it guarantees highest quality and precision in profile processing. All operations are being performed while the profile is stationary thus providing for optimal surface protection.

Over the last years the extrusion industry has been steadily moving towards providing complete product solutions to its customers thereby optimizing cost efficiency along the supply chain. With its continuously growing machining facilities Alcomet is fully equipped to meet these challenges.
