Alkomet Shumen : Alcomet took part in “Sound of money” forum

Eight edition of economic forum 'Sound of money' started today with remarkable interest in Sofia, Marinela hotel, EFE hall. The event began with Capital market panel.

Traditionally, the discussion in the Capital Markets panel offers the audience the largest number of foreign lecturers. On Bulgarian side this year, Ivan Takev, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, and Petar Stanchev, Investor Relations and Financial Manager of Alcomet AD took part.

Debut in The Sound of Money is made by Ludwig Sobolevski, Executive Director of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The executives of the Belgrade Stock Exchange and the Macedonian Stock Exchange, respectively Sinisa Krneta and Ivan Shariev, participate for the second time at the event organized by Profit.bg. On the part of the Greek Exchange Helex Group, Andreas Daskalakis is present.

'Entering SOFIX helped better trade with Alcomet shares and for the first quarter we report 3 times increasing of our shares trade.' This was announced during the forum by Petar Stanchev, Investor Relations and Financial Manager of Alcomet AD.

According to his statement this was supported by good financial results of the company during 2015, entire 2016 and beginning of 2017, as for 2016 company reports EBITDA of 14% and net profit of % which is remarkable result for a metallurgy company.

'2016 was the best in the history of Alcomet and expect that 2017 will be the second best one' point out Stanchev. According to his statement good results enables the company to develop it large scale investment program for more than 40 mio euro. Resources will be invested in two main workshops of the company - rolling and extrusion, and will be purchased equipment from leading German manufacturer, got clear from his wordings. This will help increasing of the production of the company to 100 000 tons or with 35% in the next 3-4 years. According to his statement, Alcomet expect 5% increasing of the net profit for this year and EBITDA of 9-10% with turover of 350 mio lv.
