Allianz has brought together insurance and digital experts from around the world under one roof - the Global Digital Factory - to revolutionize how customers interact with their insurance partner.

Innovators from 30 Allianz companies globally will soon stream into the new building to find new ways to get closer to you - our customer - in a digital world. They will go beyond building products, to create personalized and transparent solutions, which are easy to use and accessible from anywhere, any time.

In the Factory, project teams will tackle areas such as claims and customer communication in novel ways and work under tight deadlines. Our longer-term goal is to transform Allianz's work culture to make it more collaborative, innovative, customer-centric and agile.

The Global Digital Factory occupies Munich's hi-tech corridor outside the city center, where pop-up offices constructed from rebuilt shipping containers sit alongside trendy office blocks. English is the lingua franca and a steady stream of espresso fuels the dozens of specialists.

The financial sector is moving from paper to bytes at blinding speed. Traditionally, major market players have been slower to respond to new trends than startups. But this changes when the experiences of a big group are combined with the spirit of entrepreneurship in a single collaboration hub.

Many Allianz businesses already have great digital initiatives underway in local markets. Now it's time to leverage that expertise across the Group and design the best solutions for our customers worldwide.
