HOOVER, Ala. - Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition (ACFC) invites everyone to an electric vehicle (EV) outdoor EVent on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon on Highway 31 in Hoover.

Many EV models - Tesla, Nissan Leaf, Cadillac ELR, Chevy Volt, BMW I3, Ford Fusion and more - will be on display so you can 'kick the tires' and get answers to your questions.

Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition and partners will be on hand to share information about the growing number of electric vehicles in Alabama and how you can lower your fuel costs, enjoy far better fuel economy compared to gas-powered engines and realize the cost savings benefits of driving an EV.

'Our aim is to share a lot of good information about plug-in electric vehicles,' said Mark Bentley, ACFC's Executive Director. 'We will talk about the economic and environmental benefits to driving an electric vehicle, the available incentives and the growing charging infrastructure in Alabama to 'fuel' EVs.'

With growing demand and more new and exciting models available, prices are coming down as the enthusiasm increases! Join us on Nov. 21 to see why EV ownership is growing rapidly in Alabama and across the USA.

The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Enjoy a Krispy Kreme doughnut and coffee on us!

WHAT: Electric Vehicle (EV) Outdoor EVent.

WHEN: November 21, 2015, from 9 a.m. to noon.

WHERE: On the lot in front of Krispy Kreme at 1990 New Patton Chapel Road in Hoover.
