ALMA MEDIA: ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO THE SECURITIES ACT, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9

Alma Media Corporation has on June 21, 2012 received flagging notices pursuant to the Securities Act, Chapter 2, Section 9, from Mandatum Life Insurance Company Limited (business ID 0641130-2) and Kaleva Mutual Insurance Company (business ID 0200628-9).The shareholding of each company in Alma Media has fallen below the flagging limit of 5%.

According to the notices the new holdings are:

According to this notice Mariatorp Ltd has purchased 7 600 000 Alma Media shares on June 21, 2012. After this purchase Mariatorp Ltd's ownership in Alma Media Corporation represents 10.07 % of all shares and voting rights.

The share capital of Alma Media Corporation (business ID 1944757-4) is 75,486,853; total number of voting rights is 75,486,853.
