Frédéric Lalanne (48) joins Alstom Grid-the Group's power
transmission sector- as SVP Sales and Marketing. He is
a member of the Alstom Grid Management Committee and
reports to Alstom Grid President, Grégoire
Poux-Guillaume.
Frédéric Lalanne holds a master of Sciences &
Technology (1988), a post graduate degree in business
administration of Paris' Institut d' Administration des
Entreprises (1990) and a master in international politics
of Brussels' Free University (1998). He also graduated from
France's INSEAD in international management (2001). He has
held different managing positions in Pauwels Trafo, based
in Belgium and in Indonesia, such as Sales & Marketing
Director for Europe (1996-2000), Sales & Marketing Director
for Asia-Pacific (2000-2001) and General Manager for Europe
- Middle East - Africa (2002-2004). He joined Alstom in
2005 as Managing Director for Alstom Projects India Limited
in charge of Alstom Power activities, based in New Delhi.
In January 2008 he joined Cegelec where he was appointed
President of Worldwide Business, based in Brussels.
