A group commitment

Altran support for the DAMAE Medical project follows from the Group's long-standing commitment to the fight against cancer. Through technological innovation, its HR policies and its staunch support in this field, this involvement spans several stages of the disease. Cambridge Consultants, a Group subsidiary specialised in innovative product development, created Soltair, a solution that helps in cancer prevention. It does so by analysing skin photosensitivity and weather conditions to recommend optimal periods of sun exposure. Cambridge Consultants also developed the ClearCell® FX System, a diagnostic device that isolates and captures tumour cells from a blood sample to reduce the number of cancer-related deaths.

Every day in France, 400 working-age individuals are diagnosed with cancer. That's why Altran works together with Cancer@Work to better support employees with cancer. Altran France has signed the Cancer@Work Charter and implemented an action plan to help people directly or indirectly affected by cancer find jobs, remain employed and enjoy better quality of life in the workplace.

Altran counts many national or internationals initiatives to fight against cancer, such as a first contribution to the Movember initiative, which was a success in terms of internal mobilisation to support the fight against masculine cancers.
