Aluminium Bahrain BSCC : Alba and Asry Chairman receives Swiss Honorary Consul General

Chairman of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) and Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (Asry) Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa received in his office today, Wednesday, October 5, 2016, His Excellency Mr. Humbert Vincent Buemi, the Swiss Honorary Consul General to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Shaikh Daij Al Khalifa welcomed H.E. the Honorary Consul General and reviewed with him different aspects of cooperation between Asry and Alba and other related Swiss companies. They also discussed areas of mutual interest between the two companies and Swiss companies in terms of new projects, especially the Line 6 Expansion Project that will open new horizons for Alba. H.E. the Swiss Honorary Consul General thanked Shaikh Daij Al Khalifa for receiving him and stressed on the long and profound trade, investment and economic ties between the two countries.

H.E. the Consul General was later led for a tour around Asry and its different facilities.

H.E. the Consul General also visited Alba where he was welcomed by the acting Chief Operations Officer Amin Sultan and other officials and discussed with them ways of mutual cooperation. During the overview briefing of the Line 6 Expansion Project, H.E the Consul General expressed his excitement for this project. Later, H.E. was accompanied in a tour around Alba and its different facilities.

At the end, H.E. expressed his wishes of further development for both companies, under the leadership of their respective Board of Directors, headed by Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, the executive management and the employees.
