Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, held a one-day review workshop to focus on alignment and synergy within the Management team. The review focused on the critical success factors required for Alba to achieve the '2017 Expectations' as communicated by the CEO during the January Town Hall meetings.

During the session, the Management team presented their respective department's road map to achieve their goals and targets for the year based on Alba Expectations on Safety, Line 6, Project Titan and Achieving Excellence for 2017.

Speaking about the 'Critical Success Factors Review', Alba's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said:

'We operate in a difficult industry and our success is tied to doing better than necessary. In today's session, the management team focussed on how to enhance synergy in order to achieve Alba's objectives.'

CEO Tim Murray had unveiled Alba's 2017 Expectations during this year's Town Hall Meetings, namely: Safety Tomorrowland - Diligent commitment towards a Zero Accident work environment; Line 6 Transformation - Line 6 Expansion Project will make Alba the largest single-site Aluminium Smelter in the world upon its completion; Titan DNA - Cost Reduction is key for the Company's future growth and sustainability; and Do Your Job A+ - Our aim is not just to accomplish our targets but to achieve excellence and beyond.
