As Aluminum Corporation of China Limited* (the "Company") is planning a material event which may constitute a material asset restructuring, in view of the great uncertainty with the event, the Company has applied to the Shanghai Stock Exchange for suspension of trading of shares of the Company (stock code: 601600, stock short name: Chalco) with effect from Tuesday, 12 September 2017 in accordance with relevant provisions under the Rules Governing the Listing of Stocks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange so as to ensure fair information disclosure, safeguard the interests of investors and prevent unusual fluctuations in the share price of the Company.

The Company undertakes to determine whether to proceed with the aforementioned material event as soon as possible, and undertakes to determine whether the event constitutes a material asset restructuring within 10 trading days from the suspension of trading. During the suspension of trading of shares, the Company will fulfill the obligation of information disclosure in strict accordance with the provisions and requirements under relevant laws and regulations depending on the progress of relevant event, and publish an announcement on the progress of relevant material event every 5 trading days from the date of suspension of trading of shares (including the date of suspension of trading). The website and designated media for information disclosure of the Company are the website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (www.sse.com.cn) and the Securities Times. The relevant information on the Company shall be subject to the announcement published by the Company on the aforementioned website and designated media. Investors are advised to pay prompt attention to such announcement and be aware of investment risks.
