London, United Kingdom, (18 June 2013) - AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, in joint venture with Romanian company Comproiect-92, has been awarded an engineering services framework contract by OMV Petrom covering both onshore and offshore assets in the Black Sea region. 

The contract value has not been announced.

AMEC's four-year contract is for the provision of project management, engineering, procurement services, construction management and commissioning for engineering modifications to existing oil and gas facilities in Romania, together with other individual greenfield and brownfield projects as required by OMV Petrom.

The AMEC Comproiect 92 Joint Venture was formed in 2011 following an agreement between AMEC and Comproiect's parent company GSP to jointly pursue projects in the Black Sea region.
