Demand Management Inc., a leading global resource for supply chain management solutions, announced today that it has been honored in the 9th Annual SCM Logistics & Manufacturing Excellence Awards. Demand Solutions Asia received the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Excellence Award.

The awards were presented by the organizers of the SCM Logistics & Manufacturing World 2013 trade show. Attended by more than 180 senior industry executives, the presentation ceremony was held at the SCM Logistics & Manufacturing Excellence Awards Industry Gala Dinner on July 2, 2013, at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore.

The SCM Logistics & Manufacturing Excellence Awards are the industry's most prestigious awards designed to celebrate excellence in supply chain and manufacturing. They honor outstanding achievements by companies that have demonstrated innovation and resilience in solving supply chain challenges, realized their corporate objectives as a result of effective supply chain management, and added business value by improving cost savings and increasing efficiency.

Demand Solutions was nominated for awards in two of the competition's seven possible categories. All winners were chosen by a panel of five judges from across the industry.

"It's a great honor to win the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Excellence Award," said Bill Harrison, president of Demand Management. "We are grateful to see our efforts recognized by industry experts. It reflects the value we believe Demand Solutions provides to companies in the Asia Pacific region - and worldwide. We look forward to continuing to offer outstanding value to our customers around the globe."
