American Water : CEO Susan Story Set to Speak At 2017 NASUCA Annual Meeting

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the nation’s largest publicly-traded water and wastewater utility company, today announced President and Chief Executive Officer Susan Story will participate in the 2017 National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates (NASUCA) annual meeting from Nov. 12 - 15 in Baltimore, Md.

"We provide our customers with not only an important utility service, but a critical health need,” said Story. “American Water is committed to providing safe, clean, affordable and reliable water and water services to our customers and communities. Water is critically dependent on energy and telecom to do our business most effectively, and energy is one of the biggest users of water in our economy. On Monday, Nov. 13, Story will participate in the NASUCA CEO Keynote Panel – “The Energy-Water-Gas-Telecom Nexus and What It Means for Consumers: A Conversation with Utility CEOs.” She will offer a unique outlook through her leadership roles at both water and energy utilities and will discuss how collaboration across energy, water, and other sectors presents a win for everyone.
