PENNSYLVANIA AMERICAN WATER KICKS OFF PIPELINE UPGRADE FOR ROYERSFORD SYSTEM ROYERSFORD, Pa. (May 16, 2016) - Pennsylvania American Water today announced the start of construction in Royersford Borough to install new water main to improve service reliability, prevent water outages and enhance fire protection. Starting this week, crews will install approximately nearly 1,400 feet of eight-inch ductile iron pipe along Oak Street and 7th Avenue. The company expects to complete the water main installation, service tie-ins and final paving restoration by the end of June, weather permitting.

Water main construction will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic restrictions will be in place during construction hours, and motorists are urged to find alternate routes.
