Today, Missouri American Water announced the company’s acquisition of the Woodland Manor water system located in Branson, Mo. The system serving approximately 170 customers was previously operated by Woodland Manor LLC.

“We welcome these new customers to Missouri American Water and look forward to providing them with high quality service,” said Cheryl Norton, President of Missouri American Water.

The acquisition of the Woodland Manor water system was approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission (MoPSC) on May 3, 2016 and closed today. The water system will be incorporated into Missouri American Water’s Tri Lakes Operation, which serves approximately 6500 customers in the Branson area, Warsaw, White Branch, Sedalia and Laurie, Missouri.

Customers are receiving letters with information about the water system transition, and the first monthly water bill from Missouri American Water will arrive in late July.
