MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 10 -- Ameriprise Financial issued the following news release:
For the 12th year in a row year, Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP) has earned 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking report measuring corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality. Ameriprise received a perfect score by satisfying all criteria within five categories to once again earn a "Best Place to Work" designation for LGBTQ equality. "We're honored to be recognized year after year as a business that offers an inclusive work environment where we are all empowered to be our personal best."
Ameriprise is among 609 companies, from a total of 945 rated U.S. businesses, to achieve 100 percent on the CEI.
