AEM Adds Stabilizer Trim Actuator Capability
STANSTED AIRPORT, ESSEX - AEM Limited, a unit of AMETEK Aerospace & Defense, now has new capability to test, repair and overhaul the stabilizer trim actuator for the Boeing 737 Classic and Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) series aircraft platforms at its Ramsgate, Kent facility. This is a flight critical control system that maintains optimum horizontal stabilizer surface position during aircraft take-off, cruise and landing.

AEM has developed a full in-house capability, including a comprehensive test set-up to ensure all units meet the stringent performance criteria prescribed in the component maintenance manual. Part numbers for B737 Classic are 65-49970- series, 65C34751- series and 65C36486- series and for B737 NG 251A4510- series.

'AEM continues to add additional products to its capability, as part of its commitment to improve its service offering in response to customer demand,' comments Andy Wheeler, Commercial Director for AEM.
