AMP Bank increases interest rates for term deposits
AMP Bank has increased its interest rates for six month and
12 month term deposits, effective
Sunday 29 January.
The AMP Bank six month term deposit rate will increase by 40
basis points to 6.00 per cent per annum while its 12 month
term deposit rate will increase by 15 basis points to 5.50
per cent per annum.
"With continued market volatility, investors are looking for
high-return, low-risk investments. Term deposits are one of
the most popular options, so we want to make sure AMP Bank's
term deposit rates are some of the most competitive in the
market," AMP Bank Chief Operating Officer Rob Slocombe
said.
