AMP Limited today announced that Matthew Percival will retire from AMP, after 16 years as Group Executive Public Affairs.

Helen Livesey will be appointed as Group Executive Public Affairs and Chief of Staff effective from the New Year.

Helen joined AMP in 1998 and since then has held senior public affairs positions both domestically and in the UK.

AMP CEO Craig Meller acknowledged Matthew's substantial contribution to the company since joining in 2000. Matthew has led AMP's Public Affairs function through a period of considerable industry change as well as the merger with AXA and the demerger of AMP's UK business.
Mr Meller wished Matthew well for his future and thanked him for his invaluable contribution to AMP.

Mr Meller also welcomed Helen's appointment which will commence on 1 January 2017.

Helen Livesey biography
Helen Livesey is the Director, Corporate Communications and Office of the CEO and will assume the role of Group Executive Public Affairs and Chief of Staff on 1 January 2017.

Helen was appointed Director, Brand and Marketing in 2014 and has held senior public affairs, marketing and brand positions at AMP, both domestically and in the UK.

Helen has a Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) from the University of Loughborough, UK.
