International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E) to supply circulating, dry flue gas desulphurization systems for OG&E's two 569-megawatt coal-fired boilers at the Sooner power station near Red Rock, Oklahoma, USA, as part of its efforts to comply with the US Environmental Protection Agency's Regional Haze Rules. Start-up is scheduled for 2018.

The scope of supply comprises design, engineering, manufacture, supply, and start-up of two new Turbo CDS (Circulating Dry Scrubbing) systems from ANDRITZ Environmental Solutions, including fabric filters and auxiliary equipment, providing high air-quality performance, operating reliability, equipment durability, and ease of process control.
