ANDRITZ Wuxi - full-line solutions together with excellent service

ANDRITZ Wuxi Nonwoven Technology, China, is a renowned competence center for manufacturing, service, and R&D in the Asian nonwovens industry. Close to its customers, the company is able to offer a full range of services including pilot plant and test stands for customer test trials.

The ANDRITZ facility in Wuxi hosts a state-of-the-art needlepunch line on an industrial scale, including the A.30 aXcess needleloom, which is available with a down-stroke (SD) and an up-stroke (SM) set-up. This is particularly suitable for high-quality pre-needling when processing automotive felt, filtration, and geotextile applications at proven industrial speeds of up to 1,200 rpm, with working widths of up to six meters. Highly skilled process engineers are on the spot to support product developments and trials.

The roll service center comprises state-of-the-art grinding equipment and a test stand for various kinds of rolls up to 1 m in diameter and 10 m in length. The test stand enables a performance check on roll parameters, such as line force, speed, and temperature, under production conditions. All roll types can be repaired, reconditioned, and upgraded at the ANDRITZ Wuxi service center.

ANDRITZ Nonwoven aXcess range - the entrance key to the nonwovens market

As all-round partner for the nonwovens industry, ANDRITZ Nonwoven has developed the nonwoven aXcess range to fit the demands of producers with medium-capacity requirements, particularly in the emerging markets. The ANDRITZ Nonwoven aXcess portfolio includes lines and individual machines for needlepunch, spunlace, and calendering processes, making it the ideal product for entering the nonwoven market.

The latest development within the ANDRITZ aXcess range is the neXcal twin aXcess. This calender is based on the well-known and proven technology of the neXcal twin. Designed with a speed range of up to 600 m/min and a standard roll width of up to 3,800 mm, the neXcal twin aXcess meets perfectly the demands of medium-capacity production up to 12,000 t/a. With one roll in production and one roll in stand-by position, the three-roll calender offers highest flexibility in the medium-capacity nonwovens market.
