One of the ANDRITZ neXline spunlace lines will be installed at Mogul's new plant in Luleburgaz, Turkey. It is designed with a crosslapped configuration in order to cater to a great variety of end uses, e.g. in the automotive sector, for artificial leather, dry wipes or roofing substrates. Mogul has also decided to invest in a spunjet line for Luleburgaz to produce technical nonwovens from splittable bi-component filaments.

The second complete spunlace line ordered by Mogul will operate in its new North American facility, located in Gray Court, South Carolina. This line, with in-line carding configuration, will produce lightweight fabrics at very high speed for applications in the medical and hygiene sectors (e.g. for wet wipes). Thanks to this new investment, Mogul will be able to better serve its North American customers.

The three new nonwovens lines will be equipped with the latest innovations from ANDRITZ Nonwoven, e.g. with the energy-saving neXecodry system, and will allow Mogul to be a step ahead in its market with a wide range of innovative nonwoven fabrics.
