Aneka Tambang Persero Tbk PT : ANTAM Receives Special Achievement During CECT AWARD 2016

Jakarta, November 25, 2016 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce the Company has received the Special Achievement - Managing Risk Through CSR during the Center for Entrepreneurship, Change and Third Sector Corporate Social Responsibility (CECT CSR) Award 2016 which was held on November 17th, 2016 at JS Luwansa Hotel Jakarta.

ANTAM's Human Capital & CSR Director , I Made Surata said,

We believe the existence of sustainability attributes in the surrounding area of our operations will deliver positive influence to promote community self-reliance. ANTAM's CSR programs refer to the Company's CSR Master Plan which is in line with the ISO 26000 standard. '

Center for Entrepreneurship, Change and Third Sector (CECT) is one of the research institute of Trisakti University. The award measures company's CSR corporate governance performance as well as environment, economy and social performance based on ISO 26000.

ANTAM's coherent CSR initiatives are comprised of 4 programs: Community Development (Comdev), Partnership and Community Stewardship Program (PKBL) as well as Environmental Management Program. During the first nine months of 2016, ANTAM spent Rp11 billion on Partnership Program, Rp600 million on Community Stewardship Program, Rp30 billion on Community Development Program and Rp35 billion on Environmental Management Program.
