Jakarta, July 31, 2015 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ANTAM; ASX - ATM; IDX - ANTM) is pleased to announce that the company received Culture-based Community Empowerment Award (GPMB Award) 2015 - CSR Best Practices for MDGs Towards SDGs. ANTAM received 1 Platinum in the Participation of Marine & Coastal Empowerment and 2 Golds in Tree Planting on Unproductive Land for the Fruit Centre Development for Greening and Economy Empowerment Program in Nanggung sub-district, Bogor and ANTAM Save Jakarta Program by Rehabilitating Degraded Land in Bogor area. The awards were presented by the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture to ANTAM's General Affairs & CSR Director I Made Surata at Hotel Kartika Chandra on 29th July 2015.

ANTAM's General Affairs & CSR Director I Made Surata said:
"These awards reflect our effort to deliver added value programs to the community in the surrounding area. Amidst challenges of the global mineral processing industry, ANTAM continues to implement good mining practices including community development. One of ANTAM's CSR Best Practice for MDGs is reflected by our participation in the marine & coastal empowerment program and the tree planting on unproductive land program, all of which are part of our sustainability initiatives."

The GPMB award is a cooperation program between the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, the Corporate Forum For Community Development (CFCD) and PT Cendekia Mulia Komunikasi (CMK). The awards recognize companies or institution for their participation in achieving 12 goals from the 17 goals of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The GPMB Awards 2015 CSR Best Practice for MDGs recognizes industries and institutions in participating in the achieving MDGs goals which become Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) activities until 2030. The GPMB Awards event was held since 2010.
