The board of directors (the "Board") of Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited (the "Company") announces that Mr. Yang Kaifa ("Mr. Yang") has resigned as a company secretary of the Company with effect from 28 June 2017 for his other work engagement.

Following the resignation of Mr. Yang, Mr. Chiu Pak Yue Leo, a solicitor of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as defined in the Legal Practitioners Ordinance (Chapter 159 of the Laws of Hong Kong), remains a company secretary of the Company. The Company is in the course of searching for a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy of a joint company secretary as soon as practicable. For the time being, Mr. Zhou Bo, an executive director and the chief accountant of the Company, will assist in the taking up of company secretarial duties. The Company will make further announcement for the appointment of a new joint company secretary in due course.
