ANTARIA MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Antaria Limited (ASX:ANO) announced today the following
changes to its Management team, which follow the Board
changes announced yesterday.
Mr Russell Vallis is appointed General Manager of OEM
Products, responsible for the
Marketing and Sales of Antaria's Personal Care and Industrial
products and solutions.
Mr Nathan Chapman is appointed General Manager Production and
Sourcing, with responsibility for managing the sourcing,
production and fulfilment of Antaria's product range.
Dr John Robinson is appointed General Manager Advanced
Research and Development, with responsibility for managing
Antaria's advanced Research & Development services for
Antaria and 3rd party clients.
These three principal operating units each have full profit
and cost responsibilities and will have the discretion to
pursue operating improvements and initiatives within their
responsibility areas. For the time being, General Managers
will report to the Board as an operating committee. Antaria
intends to appoint a Chief Executive in due course.
A fourth unit, Finance & Services, is being established to
provide accounting, IT and administrative services to the
operating divisions. To support this initiative, Antaria will
be implementing the Pronto Enterprise software system to
support the operating units.
The expected direct financial impact of the recent Board and
Management changes, when coupled with some savings in rent
and outgoings currently being finalised, will be to reduce
annual operating costs by approximately $500,000 per year (on
a run-rate basis).
