By BURLINGTON, Vt. (October 24, 2011)-Aon Risk Solutions,the global risk management business of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON), today announced that Leta C. Finch joined the company as national practice leader for higher education.
In her new role, Finch will provide leadership and advice to colleagues working with colleges and universities, providing strategic risk solutions to solve their business needs.She will work closely withAnne Mulholland, who will now serve as director of brokerage services for Aon's Higher Education Practice, and Angela Tennis, chief operating officer of the practice.
"As our portfolio of educational clients grows, Aon is investing resources in this highly specialized niche," Mulholland said.

Finch most recently served as an executive director of the higher education practice at Arthur J. Gallagher. She was previously the director of risk management at the University of Vermont and is a past president of the University Risk Management and Insurance Association.Finch is trustee emeritus ofChamplain College and is currently the president of the Foundation for Higher Education in Central Asia.Finch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree insociology from the University of Hawaii and aMaster of Arts degree in public administration from the University of Vermont.
