Luxembourg, 7 June 2017 (13:00 CET) - Aperam is today hosting a site visit for investors in Genk, Belgium and announces Phase 3 of the Leadership Journey® - the Transformation Program - to achieve the next structural profitability improvement. This new phase of the Leadership Journey® aims USD 150 million of additional annualized EBITDA gains over the period 2018 to 2020. Under this phase, the Company wants to further transform the business and address next generation needs of Aperam‟s customers through new technologies, automation, digitalization and a fully connected organisation.
As part of Aperam's ongoing measures on balance sheet strengthening and financing, the Company also announces that it has entered an unsecured revolving credit facility (5 year) of EUR 300 million, replacing its existing secured borrowing base facility (3 year) of USD 400 million.
