Luxembourg April 18, 2018 - Aperam, a leading global producer of stainless and specialty steel, today publishes its 'made for life' report, which constitutes Aperam's sustainability performance report for 2017.

Built on stakeholder inclusiveness and materiality, this report follows the GRI 4 sustainability guidelines. It has been reviewed by an external audit firm to confirm its compliance with the GRI protocol, including the reporting of material sustainability performance data such as safety results (LTIFR and Severity rates), CO2 intensity, energy intensity, water withdrawals and air emissions.

'When I look back at our achievements, I clearly see that our success is built upon the kind of passion and innovation that is only possible when your employees are happy to work for your company and fully share its values. This makes me very proud. So let's continue- and even accelerate - this trend in 2018.' Timoteo Di Maulo, CEO of Aperam, commented.

Aperam's complete report is available on www.aperam.com/sustainability. It is composed of the' made for life report' (summary) and online supplements.
