Carnegie Learning, Inc., a subsidiary of Apollo Education Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: APOL), today announced a new alliance bringing together Clever’s Instant Login single sign-on system with Carnegie Learning’s digital mathematics programs for middle and high school. The seamless integration of Clever’s capabilities with a school’s student information system (SIS) grants students and teachers instant access to Carnegie Learning’s MATHia® and Cognitive Tutor® software with a single login.

“We are thrilled to work with Clever to help school districts continue to improve their learning environments for students, teachers and administrators,” said Erin Simmons, chief operating officer at Carnegie Learning. “This new relationship between Carnegie Learning and Clever empowers teachers and students with the ability to more effectively access their software tools, all while eliminating excess data management tasks for teachers and administrators.”

In addition to the single sign-on access for Carnegie Learning users, teachers and administrators will also gain access to real-time student enrollment rosters and reporting, which will sync across a district’s SIS to ensure students are enrolled and engaged in the proper courses. All Clever and Carnegie Learning systems are secure and FERPA-compliant, helping to ensure that all student information is safe and 100 percent controlled by the school district.

“Making it easy for teachers to adopt and use breakthrough software, such as Carnegie Learning’s digital mathematics programs, is a top priority for Clever,” said Tyler Bosmeny, CEO of Clever. “By implementing Clever and Instant Login, students and teachers can spend more classroom time learning, and reduce the time that teachers and administrators spend on data management.”

Carnegie Learning offers a learning environment that extends beyond traditional textbook learning. Based on more than 20 years of research into how students process and learn mathematical principles, Carnegie Learning blends consumable, write-in textbooks that are updated annually with interactive digital, online tools and resources to create a personalized learning plan for each student.
