Arab Bank Named Best Consumer Internet Bank in Jordan for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Arab Bank recently received the "Best Consumer Internet Bank in Jordan" award from the international magazine, Global Finance, for the fifth consecutive year for its "Arabi Online" Internet banking service.

The Bank was selected for this award based on the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, growth of online customers, extensive product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives and website design and functionality.

Mr. Yacoub Matouk, Vice President-Head of Consumer Banking in Jordan, said, "Receiving such an award, for the fifth consecutive year, reaffirms the Bank's position as the leading provider of Internet banking services in Jordan. The Bank is dedicated to developing and providing the best banking products and innovative banking solutions that meet the needs of our customers." Mr. Yacoub added, "We are very proud to receive this award and we will build on our efforts to provide our customers with quality services and products."

The Arabi Online service, which is available in both Arabic and English, is designed to provide a high level of security, with an option that allows customers to self-register for the service through the Bank's website. Arabi Online consists of several value-added features that give its users flexibility and comfort, allowing them to conduct a wide variety of banking transactions online such as: Viewing account balances and details, credit card management, eStatement service, bills payment service, application for products, funds transfers and cheque book requests.
