ArcelorMittal, Indiana Regulators, Environmental Groups Reach Settlement Over Waste -AP

ArcelorMittal (>> ArcelorMittal) has agreed clear more than three million tons of steelmaking waste along Lake Michigan, reaching a settlement with Indiana regulators and environmental groups, the Associated Press reported Friday.
The agreement also requires ArcelorMittal to implement a plan to manage waste stored at its Burns Harbor complex about 10 miles east of Chicago, according to the report.
