DEERFIELD, Mo., Oct. 1, 2015-Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced that it is investing to create an additional 2.5 million bushels of soybean storage at the company's Deerfield, Missouri, processing plant.

'Our local farmer suppliers are a vital part of our business in Deerfield, and we hope that they will be as excited as we are about expanding our bean storage capacity here,' said Tim Cassidy, commercial manager of the Deerfield plant. We're thrilled to be expanding our storage capacity in Deerfield, and look forward to continuing to be the destination of choice for farmers.'

Construction of the additional capacity will be complete in Q4 of 2015.
