CHICAGO, Oct. 26, 2015-Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM), a silver sponsor of the National FFA Organization, will showcase its partnership with the organization at the 2015 National FFA Convention & Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. ADM contributed more than $345,000 to FFA this year to support a variety of programs designed to educate and recognize high school students involved in the agriculture industry.

'As the world's population continues to grow, creating an abundant food supply that can feed people around the globe becomes more critical every day, and our industry is relying on the next generation of leaders to find new ways to meet this challenge,' said Mark Schweitzer, vice president of Investor Relations at ADM, 2017 chair-elect of the National FFA Foundation Sponsors' Board, and one of the recipients of this year's Honorary American FFA Degree. 'FFA does a tremendous job of developing and preparing students for leadership roles and successful careers in the ag industry, and we are proud to partner to help advance their mission.'

During the Expo, ADM will be hosting activities at Booth #2129 including a livestock judging contest and a photo booth for students.

Representatives from several of ADM's businesses will be at the booth to talk to students and their parents about potential career paths in agriculture generally, and with ADM specifically.

ADM colleagues and executives will also participate in a new career networking event with state FFA officers on Monday, Oct. 26, and will judge the national Proficiency Awards and the American Degree Stars Over America Awards.

'Whether it's through sponsoring college scholarships for FFA students, establishing the first FFA corporate Alumni Affiliate, funding leadership training conferences and awards programs or ADM colleagues volunteering at local FFA chapters across the country, ADM has a long history of partnering with the FFA. We are proud to continue that support this year,' Schweitzer said.
