Aristocrat Leisure : Nomination of new Non-Executive Director

Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) announced that Mrs Sylvia Summers Couder has been nominated by the Board as a Non-Executive Director effective today, subject to receipt of all relevant regulatory pre-approvals*.

Mrs Summers has over 35 years' experience as a senior executive in the high tech industry, being a former Chief Executive Officer of Trident Microsystems Inc. and having held a variety of senior management positions in research and development, operations and marketing, managing large global teams. Sylvia has worked in the U.S., Asia and Europe and currently resides in the U.S.

Mrs Summers has extensive experience as a company director having been an independent director of seven publicly traded U.S. companies, and is currently a non-executive director of Alcatel-Lucent SA, Semtech Corporation and Headwaters Inc.

Shareholders will be asked to appoint Mrs Sylvia Summers as a Director of the Company at the Annual General Meeting of the Company in February 2017, subject to the receipt of all relevant regulatory pre-approvals.
