Artilium plc (LSE/AIM: ARTA), the AIM quoted provider of innovative telecommunication software and solutions, announces that it is supporting Lycamobile in Belgium to implement a KYC ('Know Your Customer') Solution from 1st July 2018, for secure and easy identification and authentication of Lyca mobileLycamobile prepaid customers.

This solution is being implemented to help Lycamobile comply with the new mandatory SIM Card Registration process with a solution that makes the registration process incredibly simplesignificantly simpler for consumers, enabling them to use their physical documents for digital registration and ID verification.

Artilium has integrated advanced identity software to streamline the consumer registration process for prepaid mobile phone SIM cards to meet the European legal requirements.

Lycamobile currently has over 650,000 customers in Belgium and is expecting in excess of 40,000 new registrations every month, so LycaLycamobile have selected a 'best of breed' solution with a simple registration process to deliver a compliant simple to use solution to its customers.

Lycamobile sells their services through over 4,000 retail outlets in Belgium and has selected the Artilium solution due to the unique optical scanning feature which means that there is no need to manually enter customer data and this solution has been imbedded in the validation protocols within CheckDoc for eID.
