The Board of Directors of Asahi Kasei today adopted a resolution for a change in the company's Representative Directors, as shown below.

Reason for the change

It was determined that a rejuvenation of the management team was necessary to enhance the management foundation in the business fields that the company is focused on, to obtain more transparent governance, and to enable flexible adaptation to changes in the operating environment.
