Asknet : continues its strong sales performance and expands its global customer base

* eCommerce Solutions Business Unit wins several new customers

* Further contracts with US software vendors about to be signed

* Growing number of customers puts revenues on more stable basis

Karlsruhe, November 6, 2017 - asknet AG, a supplier of global e-commerce solutions, has signed contracts with new customers from Great Britain and Pakistan in the eCommerce Solutions business unit over the past days. Contractual negotiations with other new customers from the US software sector are at an advanced stage. asknet thus continues in 2017 its strong sales performance of the prior year.

"In Asia we already strengthened our position last year by hiring an industry expert with long-standing experience in the distribution of e-commerce solutions for digital products. Since then, we have successively expanded our position in this market," says Jan Schöttelndreier, Vice President eCommerce Solutions.

Thanks to the ongoing positive sales trend in the new customer shops and the fact that asknet continues to win new customers, the company is coming closer to an objective formulated in the context of the change initiative launched in 2015, namely to reduce its dependence on individual customers. And it enables the company to better offset the customer-specific fluctuations in revenues in the shops operated by asknet. The number of small and medium-sized customers won since the start of the change initiative meanwhile exceeds the total number of customers before the start of the process.

"Besides the continued strong demand in Asia, we have been able this year to intensify the sales efforts of the eCommerce Solutions Business Unit also in other regions and to bring them to a successful close.
