Asure Software (Nasdaq: ASUR), a leading provider of workplace management software solutions, today announced the formation of its AsureSpace Customer Advisory Councils in North America and the United Kingdom. The North America council consists of customers at Fortune 500 and FTSE Top 500 companies who will network, share business challenges and solutions related to workspace management, and help guide AsureSpace future product development. The council will assemble quarterly through in-person meetings and conference calls, starting with its inaugural meeting on Dec. 4. The UK council held its first meeting in London on Nov. 21 and plans to meet semi-annually.

"As mobile technologies continue to advance, today's workforce is seeking more flexibility from their employers around where they work," said Pat Goepel, Asure Software CEO. "Progressive organizations are seeing the mobile workforce trend as an opportunity to not only support and enhance workforce productivity and engagement, but also to 'right-size' the organization's workspaces with flexible workspace strategies such as hoteling or hot desking. With workspace utilization rates often running at 50 percent or less due to telecommuting, vacations, travel and other factors, many business leaders are looking for ways to assess their actual space needs and use space more efficiently. The AsureSpace Customer Advisory Council will share strategies and best practices on optimizing space, preparing today's workspace for future workforces, and provide feedback on how our solutions can help them to address those initiatives."

"Understanding mobile workforce trends and helping organizations to adapt is core to Asure's mission, so our executive team supports the Council and will be actively involved," explained Sean Mulvey, Asure Software vice president of client success. "The Council will help us collect feedback and insights about our current products from subject matter experts, and understand business initiatives and trends that should influence our future offerings. Council members may also receive early access to beta software, enabling them to directly influence our product development."

"Understanding how enterprises are looking to the convergence of mobile workforce strategy alongside workplace management is becoming a hot topic of discussion," explained Nigel Clarke, Asure Software vice president of EMEA & APAC. "Bringing people, facilities, workspace and technology together under a holistic approach to agile working is providing greater organizational benefits and stronger business cases that are being recognized by C-level executives."

The North America AsureSpace Customer Advisory Council members include influential leaders from Aetna, Boehringer Ingelheim, H&R Block, Jones Lang LaSalle, Merck, Mondelez, Pearson, Pfizer, Principal Financial, Staples, State Street, the TJX Companies, Thomson Reuters and Wells Fargo. U.K. Council members include Deutsche Bank, KMPG, Open University, Bank of England and EE (Everything Everywhere).
