Great Place To Work honored AT&T International as one of the 2018 Best Workplaces in Latin America. AT&T International and subsidiary companies AT&T Mexico and Vrio, the holding company for DIRECTV in Latin America and SKY in Brazil, took the No. 16 spot on the list. AT&T International was also recognized by Great Place to work with a 'Better for the World' award for AT&T's commitment to corporate social responsibility and diversity and inclusion.

Great Place To Work, a research and consulting firm, evaluated more than 50 elements of team members' experience on the job. Elements included employee pride in the organization's community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning, among others.

'AT&T can only be as successful as our employees and the great work they do,' said Lori Lee, CEO-AT&T International. 'That makes this recognition, based primarily on employee survey responses, all the more meaningful.'

According to Great Place To Work®, the AT&T International companies in Mexico and Latin America show strength in:

  • Promoting work-life balance.
  • Treating all employees fairly, regardless of sexual orientation and gender.
  • Cultivating a sense of pride and being treated as a full member of the organization.
