SHARE PLACEMENT TO RAISE $2.59 MILLION
Atlantic Gold NL (ASX: ATV) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a placement agreement to issue 74,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares to a private investment company, Rosemoor Development Pte Ltd, at 3.5 cents per share to raise $2,590,000. The placement and the payment of the application moneys are to be concluded by 7 March 2013. This placement will comprise an approximate
9.8% voting interest in the Company.
The principal owner of Rosemoor Development, Mr Ho Cheng Leong, has held
key positions in various public and private companies including the MBf Group of Companies in Malaysia, and has also held directorships in various public and private companies. He is presently interim Chairman and CEO of ITE Electric Co. Ltd, a company listed on the CATALIST of the Singapore Stock Exchange. Rosemoor Development is a substantial shareholder of ITE Electric Co. Ltd.
Atlantic Gold welcomes the support of Rosemoor Development as a substantial shareholder in the company. We look forward to a rewarding association with Rosemoor Development and our other shareholders as we develop the Touquoy and Cochrane Hill Gold Projects, and other gold development and exploration activities, in Nova Scotia.
