Partner and exhibitor at the upcoming Big Data Show in Paris (10 and 11 March), Atos, an international leader in digital services, presents its partnership approach to best serve its customers and enable them to respond to the challenges of Big Data.

Strategic Atos/Siemens partnership for the co-funding of Big Data projects

Within the framework of the Siemens Global Alliance, Atos has signed a strategic partnership to co-fund projects. This alliance, a driver for success, enabled the funding to be increased by €100 million bringing the total to €150 million with a strong focus on Big Data projects and especially around an industrial data analytics platform. Through this focus, Atos has confirmed its ambition and strategy regarding its Big Data positioning.

Strategic partnerships with MapR for the first customer rollouts of the Hadoop Self-Service platform

The development of the Hadoop Self-Service platform is the result of a strategic partnership with MapR. The software solution developed by Atos is based on work by MapR to make the Hadoop distribution compatible with company requirements. With quick, automated rollout, the solution enables companies to process volumes of data by handing back control to the project times while maintaining operational control of the platform.

Strategic partnership with Sinequa to run Big Data in real time

Atos, through its Bull brand, is involved in a partnership with Sinequa to offer a Big Data operating appliance in order to enable companies to extract in real time value from their data. The combination of the expertise of Atos business technologists  its bullion server -one of the most powerful in the world-  and Sinequa's Big Data and Analytics solution enables end-to-end processing of the value chain.

The Big Data partnerships in which Atos is involved aim to flesh out a portfolio of offers in order to always remain close to customer requirements. Thanks to an end-to-end approach, Atos is positioned to offer business and governments solutions that enable them to overcome the Big Data challenges and therefore, remain competitive in their market.
