ATOSS Time Control 8

Munich, October 17, 2016 With ATOSS Time Control 8, the specialist for workforce management from Munich is presenting software which meets all the demands of contemporary time and attendance management: smart functionality, the latest technology and intuitive operation. Flexible planning screens, preconfigured deployment scenarios, multilingual capability, rolebased processes as well as a high level of performance ensure greater efficiency throughout companies. One server component for all assignments and sector-specific preconfiguration guarantee fast realtime operation. ATOSS Time Control 8 is available in the cloud or onpremises.

A single server component in Windows or Linux for all assignments makes ATOSS Time Control 8
even faster with lower memory usage, enabling highly efficient deployment and facilitating
maintenance. The browser-based software for time and attendance management and workforce
scheduling is compatible with UTF-8 and scalable to an unlimited degree. ATOSS Time Control is
multilingual and currently available in German, English, Dutch, Italian and French. The software is
supplied with sector-specific basic parameterization - for fast and cost-efficient commissioning.
Standard interfaces with all conventional payroll systems and time recording terminals offer additional investment security. The current release has been extended to include a BAPI interface with SAP®.

Deployment scenarios as required
The functionality of ATOSS Time Control 8 has been significantly expanded - with a special focus on workforce scheduling. A new module, for example, enables sales-relevant data to be imported from upstream systems such as ERP or POS systems. These can be forcasted trade revenues, room occupancy in the hotel trade or quantities in production. Depending on the sales figures imported, the software selects the right planning template. Planning templates can be assigned conditions and, for example, allocated to certain types of day such as working days or national holidays and certain jobs. The screens for workforce scheduling, intervals, columns and colors can be individually designed. Scenarios can be preconfigured according to the requirement, assigned to certain user groups and quickly changed at the click of a mouse. And multiple qualifications can be easily portrayed and checked against requirements.

Usability first!
In spite of increasing functionality and high performance, the watchword is still 'usability first': Besides single sign-on in the browser client, a modern user interface ensures simple operation and a low amount of time and effort spent on training. Role-based authorization concepts and efficient processes, e.g. the application for and approval of absences performed from the departmental or employee calendar, lead to higher productivity on all levels. 'It's all about likes - this is the principle that we rigorously adhere to when developing our solutions. As well as providing the highest level of functionality, software today must offer intuitive operation and be quickly deployable', explains Volker Gruber, Principal Product Manager for the ATOSS Time Control product line.
