Auckland Airport : launches new website to make your journey better

Auckland Airport has launched a newly revamped website - www.aucklandairport.co.nz - which takes a customer centric approach.

The newly designed website was developed in consultation with customers to create an enhanced website experience that supports their journey through Auckland Airport.
'Our website is a critical channel to share travel information and updates about developments at our airport,' says Jason Delamore, Auckland Airport's general manager marketing and technology. 'The new website aims to provide a more seamless customer experience that now extends into enhanced journey planning and retail shopping.'

Highlights of the new site, based on both detailed research and customer requests, include improved Parking and Emperor Lounge booking processes. Shopping for duty and tax free online has been made easier along with showcasing all the shops and brands that are at the airport.

The new website also has a focus on responsive design to ensure it is easily accessible across all mobile, tablet and desktop devices. As well as this, users will be able to personalise their experience by creating a profile that allows them to save flight details, receive notifications and view parking and lounge bookings prior to travelling.

'As demand for our country's travel, trade and tourism sectors increase, it's important for us to offer a user friendly online experience that provides information on travel, shopping, parking and services available when traveling to and from Auckland Airport. The new website means that customers can now benefit from richer online content that supports their journey,' says Jason.
