AURELIUS subsidiary GHOTEL hotel & living opens two more hotels in Bayreuth

- Two more locations as franchisees for the Accor Group

Munich, 5 June 2018 - Hotel operator GHOTEL hotel & living (www.ghotel.de), a subsidiary of AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA (ISIN DE000A0JK2A8), will operate two Accor hotels in Bayreuth as franchisee. The opening of the two ibis houses is planned already for the end of 2019 and will add the attractive business and culture location of Bayreuth to GHOTEL's Germany-spanning portfolio. GHOTEL was again able to position itself as an attractive franchise partner for the international Accor Group; in November 2017 franchise agreements were signed for two hotels scheduled to open in 2020 under the Novotel and ibis brands at Düsseldorf Airport.

The two brand-name hotels in the economy and budget categories, an "ibis Styles" with 96 rooms and an "ibis budget" with 84 rooms, will be built as a "hotel combo" in Bayreuth in a central location near the main train station between the old city and the Festspielhaus. The concept for the shared public space of the two hotels is already in place. It will be accessible from both hotels and will have its own coffee shop. In addition, a public parking garage will be built next to the hotels. Site acquisition and construction will be by the well-known project developer Fuchs & Söhne GmbH of Berching in the Bavarian Oberpfalz region.
