Aurora Gold Corporation is a mineral exploration company focusing on exploration and development in the Tapajos Gold Province, State of Para, Brazil. The Company, through its Sao Domingo Gold Project, holds tenements in a land package covering approximately 14,710 hectares of the Tocantinzinho (TZ) Trend in the Tapajos Gold Province of Brazil. The Company's Sao Domingos project comprises over six concessions, such as 850782/2005, 850684/2006, 850119/2006, 859587/1995, 850012/2006 and 850013/2006 covering approximately 16,590 hectares. The Sao Domingos project is located around the village of Sao Domingos in the western area of Para State. Among the four licenses, tenement 859.587/95 (approximately 5,000 hectares) has been renewed; tenement 850.782/05, covering over 6,660 hectares has been applied for renewal, and over two permits covering approximately 3,055 hectares are in application.
